The Decline of the Zoo Population

Okay, so this has been a topic that has always been interesting to me, and through doing this, I have increased my knowledge about the decline of our animal populations. I think people should open their eyes and realize what we are doing to the populations of our animals around the world.

PowerPoint Review

After spending two days in class learning about effective ways to present your presentations, I learned that I really need to work on keeping the amount of words per bullet and the number of bullets per slide. I always put too much information per slide, and if I could bring that down, it would make every PowerPoint presentation I do, much more professional looking. I could also work on putting more animations in, but making it not over the top. If I could create some sort of theme within the PowerPoints, such as, every title on each page had one animation, and the pictures had a different one, and the text had a seperate one from those. This would make each slide look more organized, and more effective.

When we went to see the Acropolis, we learned that not only the Parthenon is up there, but many other buildings including the Temple of Atheina and Nike, and the Erechtheion. Here's an overview of the Acropolis

Athens, Greece - Day 1

We went to see the Parthenon, which is on top of the Acropolis. It was really windy and sunny at the same time. We went on a tour of Athens, and we visited the stadium where the first ever Olympics were held! We also got to see the football (soccer) stadium where the Panathinaikos play. There are a total of three teams based in Athens, and all are rivals. My cousins and I asked a taxi driver if the rivalry is intense, and he said that it usually isn't that bad, but sometimes, it can get physical. He said it was like the New York Mets and the New York Yankees; some people have a strong dislike to them, and others don't really mind them.
